Kratos is a prominent character in the God of War video game series, known as the "Ghost of Sparta" and the God of War. He's a powerful Spartan warrior with a tragic past, seeking vengeance against the gods. In Greek mythology, Kratos is also a minor god, the personification of strength and power, and a son of Pallas and Styx.
